Design
The Z300a's 128 x 128 display boasts a hefty 65,000 colors, and there's also a uniquely shaped monochrome front display that keeps tabs on your incoming calls, battery life, time of day, and more. Most of the phone's features and on-screen menus are controlled by a five-way center button on the handset's control pad. Up/down keys on the side of the device allow you to control volume, and an internal antenna means there's nothing to snag in your pocket. Lastly, changeable covers let you dress up the Z300a to suit your style.

Calling Features
The phone's built-in address book that can store up to 200 contacts for quick and easy management of phone numbers and other contact information. The Z300a also comes with built-in polyphonic ringtones, and there's even a built-in custom ringtone composer for crafting your own ringers. Picture and ringer caller ID functions allow you to assign pictures and ringtones to your contacts, and a silent vibrate mode is available, too, for times when you want to keep things discreet.

Messaging, Internet, and Tools
Sending messages with text, sound and photos is a snap with the Z300a, thanks to support for the Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS). There's a built-in web browser for downloads and mobile web browsing if you opt for MEdia Net service from Cingular. MEdia Net lets you receive and send emails, read news headlines, get weather updates, download games and ringtones, and more. T9 text entry, which is a technology that makes it easier for people to enter words and text on handsets, is built into the unit-- a plus for mobile email and text messaging users.

A number of handy software tools are bundled with the Z300a, including a calculator, a to-do list, a calendar, and an alarm clock.

Entertainment
A wide range of games are available for the Z300a, and many can be downloaded via the MEdia Net service. You can also dress up the phone with custom graphics and screensavers.
