Sony Ericsson HBH-660 Bluetooth Headset

Wireless/Mobile Phone Accesory/Cellular Phone Accessories

With simple controls, a built-in LCD display and a focus on comfort and style the Sony Ericsson HBH-660 is a must-have for Bluetooth-enabled phones. A quick glance at the headset's "Info Display" lets you know who's calling. You can also make, take, or reject calls with the easy-to-use buttons on the headset.

No matter how fancy or powerful a headset may be, it's not all that useful if it isn't comfortable. Fortunately, the HBH-660 has comfort covered with a lightweight, ergonomic design. The ear loop is flexible enough to fit most ears, yet sturdy enough to keep the HBH-660 in place. When not in use, carry the headset around your neck with the practical strap. And with up to five hours of talk time and up to 150 hours of standby time, you can talk to your heart's content. The HBH-660 can be used with any brand of Bluetooth mobile phone that supports the Headset or Handsfree profiles.

Features of Sony Ericsson HBH-660 Bluetooth Headset:

  • 5 hours of talk time and up to 150 hours of standby time
  • external caller id info display
  • make, take, or reject calls with the easy-to-use buttons on the headset

This is the one you want.Rating: 5
I've tried the others: jabra, motorolla, etc. but this is the only one that consistantly picks the calls up and doesn't fade out and leave you talking to dead air. I use my phone for business, so it's very important to me. This one is the best, don't waste your time with the others.
Nice headset but wait for SE's new stereo headset if you have a walkman phoneRating: 4
Basically I wanted the coolest and most up to date bluetooth headset available at the time(january of '06) and this was it. I'm wearing it now, as I have been for nearly the past hour. It's sleek, fairly comfortable and very pleasant looking. It lights up green when in use and the caller ID is a unique feature. I wanted to pair this up with my new walkman phone, the SE W600i. I had no problem connecting them up, even though the w600 isn't listed as compatible for some strange reason. The only downfall is that I cannot listen to my mp3's wirelessly through this headset(or any other for that matter). However, only weeks after I got this headset, SE announced the release of a new stereo bluetooth headset that will allow you not only to take calls at the touch of a button like this one, but also to listen to your music wirelessly using the same controls. I intend to trade this headset in for that model when it is officially released(though no one knows when).

So, if you're looking at this model and have a walkman music phone, I'd wait for the new special headset to be released( you can see it on SE's website, as well as the unofficial club of SE). But if you don't care about that feature and would simply like an easy to use, stylish, reliable headset with good battery life and performance, I'd say go for it. After reading several other reviews for other bluetooth headsets while in my quest to purchase one, I know that you could certainly do worse.
Great productRating: 4
I would give it 5 stars if not the ear loop, which happened to be very unrelibale - it starded loosing, but the problem was solved after i called customer service and a new piece was sent to me during a week. My husband has the same piece and the chargeing input got bad, the process of replacement took about a month as they were out of stock. Comparing to Jabra BT200, and BT 250 ( we own them as well as a back up) it's so much better considering the sound quality and i really like to see the battery level on display. The only issue about this indicator - it may show you 2 bars and die after half an hour conversation, so it's better to think about charging it at this time. Otherwise, very happy ( got it for about $80 at a different online store).
