Design
The 2600 follows the tried and true Nokia candybar style with an internal antenna. The 128 x 128 color display boasts 4096 colors. Most of the phone's features and on-screen menus are controlled by a five-way center button on the handset's control pad. Detachable color faceplates are available for the front and rear of the handset so you can dress up your 2600 to suit your mood. A standard hands-free headphone jack is also provided.

Calling Features
The 2600's built-in address book can store up to 200 contacts for quick and easy management of phone numbers. Choose from up to 34 built-in ringers, plus 5 additional, downloadable ringtones. There's also a vibrating alert for when you want to be discreet. You can even create your own custom ringers with the included ringtone composer. Plus, a built-in speakerphone makes it easy to talk hands-free. The 2600 ships with a number of handy Tracfone services, including free voice mail, free caller ID, and free call waiting. And perhaps most importantly, the integrated TracFone Airtime Balance Display shows you how much airtime you've used and how much is left, so you can control your costs.

Messaging and Tools
If you need basic messaging capabilities, the 2600 has you covered as support is built-in for sending and receiving SMS text messages. T9 text entry, a technology that makes it easier for people to enter words and text on handsets, is built-into the unit-- a plus for text messaging users.

A number of handy software tools are bundled with the 2600 including a calendar, a calculator with spreadsheet functions, and an alarm clock. The 2600 lets you carry these tools wherever you go so you can create appointments and view your schedule at a moment's notice.

Entertainment
The 2600 has plenty of fun built in, thanks to an assortment of built-in games. You'll get Mobile Soccer, Bounce, and Nature Park to help you pass the time during your commute on the train or the bus!
