| This is a great phone! The only thing i don't like about it is you can't download ringtones or wallpaper. Other wise it's great! I love the reception i can hear crystal clear! and this phones look is great! This phone is the best! No monthly bills just the regular phone card every now and then. AND the price is AWESOME!!! |

This phone is replacing a Nokia 1221
so far I have found the reception to be greatly improved over the Nokia. in fact this is the main reason I bought this phone
and so far I'm pleased. a co-worker has had the same model (using Tracfone) for over a year and his comments are also that it has worked great for him with no problems. I have improved the reception even farther by installing an extendable antenna from Radio Shack. this made quite a differance, at least in my area. being a flip phone, they are more delicate then a one piece unit, this is something to watch for. |
| great phone if it works in your area | Rating: 3 |
| I bought this phone a year ago for my husband at a local K-mart. We activated it and had no problems with it. I decided to get the same phone for myself since I liked it so much but was not able to find it at any store, so I purchased it online through Amazon.com. (The price of the phone was the same.)I recieved my phone and Tracfone told me they were not able to activate this phone in my area. Tracfone said they would send me a replacement phone, the same exact phone, and have is set up to work in my area. Let me just say that their customer service is terrible. First of all, you can hardly understand them, not to mention there is other conversations going on in the background. Well, the replacement phone they sent me got lost in the mail because they didn't even have my right address. I called repeatedly to work this out and made sure that they were going to send me the same exact phone and that it would work in my area. They promised me it would. Three days later I recieved a reconditioned v170 phone which is not even close to this v60 phone. I was really ticked! I finally got through to a supervisor and he told me that the v60 phone would not work in my area, (strange how my husbands phone works fine). Tracfone told me they could not reimburse me for the phone and I would have to send it back to where I bought it from. I guess I am going to look in to Alltel or Cingular. This v60 phone is a great phone for the price but make sure you check to see if it will work in your area. It took me over a month to work this out and I got nothing. |

My tracfone has worked out good so far. Customer service is fine and the free voicemail was easy to set up and use. If you decide to get a tracfone, please email me for a quick referral before activating it- we each will get 120 free minutes from the 'refer a friend' program. I'll also send you the simple instructions to follow. I've used Tracfone for quite a while, so i should be able to answer any questions you might have.
ps even if you have activated in the last few weeks i should be able to get us the free minutes. |

I have been using tracfone for seven months and I am satisfied with it. I have light cell phone usage and it costs me less than 15 dollars a month. The signal is good, no matter in the city of Boston or in the countryside of PA. I have not dealt with their custom service though. Tracfone has a promotion of 120 free minutes if you get an invitation from other users before you activate it. Let me know if you need one. And I can help you even if you have already activated it recently.
