If you use Apple Mac, stay VERY far away from this...Rating: 1
This product looks good, feels good, but unfortunately that is all I can say about it. I did extensive research looking for a bluetooth headset to use with skype and voip, music for me would have been a second use. The reason I chose the Jabra above the Motorola sets was because it specifically stated on the website that it could be used for voip. As no Os system sepc were given, I assumed that as long as your system supported Bluetooth that was ok, (I did not buy it to use for stereo music so A2DP was for me not a priority) Delivery through Amazon was super fast. Installation very easy... except here is where it started. Pairing no problem, but a very bad almost inaudible sound with loads of interference. Tried music, same, tried to call someone on skype, they almost screamed at me the sound was so bad (of course they had no idea what was happening). I tried to use the product with USB (another purchase reason) but couldn't get it to work. Dumbfounded I called support (or what they call support these days.. needless to say it was with some poor unfotunate person who could barely speak the language- German). 'I want to use this product with an iMac', 'what is that, from vodaphone or Sony Ericsson?' Finally I askled to speak to the supervisor, he only speaks english, OK so do I. To cut it short. The supervisor has no interest talking to customers, according to this mythical person, if the website doesn't state explicitly that it is Mac compatible then it isn't (I should know/smell that????). The final info from an internal memo in the call centre, Jambra is not compatible with any Apple product. Well, then I have to accept it and hope that Amazon will take my product back. My recommendation resulting from my experience... stay very far away, anything with technical and customer support this bad can only lead to trouble down the line.
