Like putting on a girdleRating: 3
Having read some of the reviews posted, I wasn't expecting to be "wow"-ed by this case. It's worse than I expected.

It is a feat just to get the Blackberry inside this case. It took a coworker and I almost 15 minutes and it still isn't perfect.

The provided holster is about half an inch shorter than the Blackberry. It has a tab on the top to hold it into the holster that I have not been able to work.

We'll see how it goes. The tape trick works well to remove dust from the case. I was able to eventually get the plastic screen in place, but mine too is a little warped on the left side.
Best case out there ... so far.Rating: 4
The Speck rubber case is the best case i've found for my Blackberry 7290. That being said, it's not ideal and i'd make a few changes.

Pros -- protects case well; no screen scratches; minimizes accidental keystrokes while in your bag; no need to use the belt clip (most women prefer purses/totebags to belt clips!); and i love the fact that you can easily see whether you have new messages (no need to take it out of the case in addition to taking it out of your purse or totebag).

Cons -- clear case collects dirt; screen cover is slightly opaque and requires greater use of the backlight; screen cover doesn't fit squarely into the rubber case; and screen cover gets scratches on it, making the screen harder to read.

I get a lot of compliments on this case, it's different enough to be noticed, and people are envious of my ability to quickly check for messages without having to fumble with opening and closing the case. However, because of the cons, I suspect i'll need to replace this case more than once a year. But i like it enough that i'll pay the $35 to do so. Maybe the next version will have some improvements. In the meantime, i feel like i'm getting my money's worth out of it.
Clip BrokeRating: 3
Great feel. Definitely confident that it protects the device, but really hard to get in and out of the provided clip. I had the thing for 2 months and the clip broke. Not sure what to do now as it cost over $30. Doubt I can still return it, and I'll probably have to pay more to get just the clip (if they even offer it).
