Blackberry 7100T SkinTight w/ Holster

I bought this semi-dorky looking thing for both my PDA and my husband's, and I thought that they were just okay... until the day he dropped/nearly lost his. Aparantly, while we were walking home from a lovely night of dinner & grocery shopping, he meant to holster the device, but didnt secure it. It dropped in the drop-off parking lot of a local car rental copany. In the dark. We were both terrified when it was discovered to be missing, and ran like crazy people all over our route home...repeatedly calling the phone line in the vain hope it would be found before it could be stolen or crushed. All of a sudden we heard it (on our second sweep of the area) and there it was, lying facedown in a pothole...totally unhurt. All we neded to do was wash the skin (separately) and it was all set! Can a cover be any better than that?!?

Great idea, but it needs some improving upon. I kept the plastic protective seal on my replacement 7100t while waiting for SkinTight to arrive. One day after putting it on, the screen of the BB and the screen protector has scratched each other. This pretty much defeated the purpose. They need to redesign the screen protector so it does not rub on the screen.

I got less scratches carrying my first one in my pocket for a year than I have gotten with this in one week!

I was looking for case or cover to protect my 7100t, but considering how big it is I didn't want something that would actually make it bigger and bulkier. I got the skin tight case and so far I'm really happy. The plastic screen cover arrived scratched which didn't make me too happy, but I contacted speck products and asked if they would replace the screen cover without me having to send back the whole thing. They were very nice about it and told me a new screen cover is on it's way. It's a little more expensive than it needs to be (why does this cost anything over $10?) but there aren't a lot of options for a blackberry case. As for using it, all of the blackberry's buttons are exposed and available, as are power and headset ports. What more do you need?
